About me
I am a Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience working across community-based settings and private practice, supporting individuals with diverse and complex mental health needs. I have a strong interest in working with people who have experienced trauma, complex stress, relational difficulties, and significant life transitions. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals whose nervous systems have been shaped by long-term stress, attachment disruptions, or cumulative trauma, and who are seeking a deeper sense of safety, embodiment, and reconnection. My work in community settings has provided me with a strong understanding of systemic, relational, and psychosocial factors impacting wellbeing, while my private practice experience allows for depth-oriented, individualised therapeutic work. I work from a somatic and trauma-informed lens, recognising that trauma is held not only in thoughts and emotions, but also in the body and nervous system.
I hold a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling, am an EMDR Accredited Practitioner and am a member of the Australian Psychological Society. My approach integrates contemporary trauma theory with evidence-based psychological practice and body-based modalities to support meaningful and sustainable healing.
